Nomination & Selection
Each year, approximately 25 participants are selected to represent a diverse cross-section of our community — including business, education, government, the arts, civic and faith-based organizations, healthcare, and more.
We seek individuals who have demonstrated leadership potential, a commitment to community service, and a desire to take on greater leadership roles in the future.
Nominations are welcome from all sectors. Individuals may nominate themselves or others who embody the Leadership Berkeley mission. Chamber membership is encouraged but not required.
The Leadership Berkeley Committee reviews all applications based on established criteria. To ensure diverse representation, no more than one participant per business or organization will be selected. Those not selected are encouraged to reapply the following year.
