WVU Medicine: Celebrations and Reflections from 2025

January 29, 2026

Celebrations and Reflections from 2025

We are grateful for the continued support of our donors, volunteers, and community partners who help advance the mission of the WVU Hospitals East Foundation. As our community grows, WVU Medicine remains focused on meeting the healthcare needs of today—and tomorrow.

Together, we are shaping a healthier community.

Because of our community’s generosity, the WVU Hospitals East Foundation is able to support patient care funds, invest in future healthcare professionals through scholarships, and provide meaningful assistance to patients and families when they need it most.

Our work to support the health and wellness of our community takes many forms. From spreading holiday joy to more than 200 local children through toy drives and gift collections, to helping equip our cancer and infusion centers with state-of-the-art technology that enhances comfort and care, to partnering with donors and schools to invest in local students who will become the next generation of healthcare professionals, every effort plays a role. Together, our donors, volunteers, and WVU Medicine employees make both immediate and lasting differences for those we serve.

Together, we are improving care today and strengthening the future of healthcare in our community.

Thank you- The WVU Hospitals East Foundation Team

A look ahead....

In the months ahead, our community will begin to see major expansion projects underway at both Berkeley Medical Center and Jefferson Medical Center. As WVU Medicine continues to grow across the Eastern Panhandle, so does the opportunity for the WVU Hospitals East Foundation to expand how we support patients and families.

With this growth comes an increased need for patient-centered services—made possible through designated care funds, expanded health resources, and continued investment in the well-being of our community. The Foundation remains committed to ensuring that as our healthcare system grows, so does access to care, comfort, and support for those who need it most.

We’re excited about what the future holds for WVU Medicine and our community. As our region continues to grow, we stand ready to help meet evolving needs and provide support for patients of all ages and circumstances—today and for years to come.

A Message from Jeannie ConstableVice President of Marketing & Philanthropy

As we step into 2026, I’m honored and truly humbled to introduce myself as the new Vice President of Marketing & Philanthropy. It is a privilege to join you, our dedicated partners, supporters, and friends, in advancing a mission that means so much to our community. Every day, I’m inspired by the generosity that fuels our work and the shared belief that everyone deserves access to the very best care close to home.

I’m filled with excitement for all that lies ahead this year. Together, we’ll continue strengthening relationships, deepening our impact, and championing the programs and services that ensure our friends and neighbors receive exceptional care when they need it most. Your support makes extraordinary things possible, and I look forward to being a strong partner as we build on this remarkable foundation.

Thank you for the trust you place in us and for the kindness, compassion, and commitment that drive our mission forward. I can’t wait to see what we achieve together in 2026.
