SEK, CPAs & Advisors is pleased to announce Lauren Frick, CPA, CFP®, MBA, Manager, has successfully completed the certification process with the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board to earn the CFP® credential.
The CFP® credential is recognized as the standard of excellence in financial planning. These professionals meet rigorous education, training, and ethical requirements and are skilled across all major areas of financial planning, from tax and investment strategy to retirement, estate, and risk management. For clients, working with a CFP® provides coordinated, future-focused guidance that aligns goals, simplifies decision-making, and delivers long-term confidence and value.
Lauren is an integral member of the firm’s Estate Administration & Compliance and Trust departments. She specializes in fiduciary tax compliance, probate administration, and providing tax services for individuals and small businesses. With extensive knowledge and experience in these areas, Lauren is a trusted advisor for attorneys and trust departments. Known for her attention to detail, she is committed to delivering high-quality service and fostering long-term client relationships. In addition to her client work, Lauren serves as co-chair of the Networking & Business Development Subcommittee within SEK’s Emerging Professionals Committee. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and from Frostburg State University with a Master of Business Administration.
